Automatic audio chunking for lecture transcription: recordings over the provider’s single-file limit are split into smaller parts, transcribed in order, and merged into a single full transcript. Chunk overlap removes duplicated words at the boundaries.

Recording progress now shows useful states: “Preparing recording,” “Transcribing part X of Y,” “Combining transcript,” and “Transcript ready.” Transcription jobs save progress as they go, so refreshing the page does not lose finished parts. The original recording is always preserved and never overwritten.

Removed the “This recording is too large … please record shorter sessions” message. Large lecture files are now handled automatically in the backend.

Transcript chunks are stored per-user and per-lecture with row-level security, so only the account owner can access them.
