Data in transit is protected with HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest is encrypted by our managed cloud database provider using their platform encryption; we rely on that provider rather than operating our own key management, and we do not independently audit it.

Row-level security is enabled on the tables that store your content, so each account reads and writes only its own rows. We do not share your study materials with other users, and we do not sell them. Content you send to an AI tool is processed by third-party model providers to generate your response — see Trust & Security.

We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in and core functionality. We do not run third-party advertising or behavioral-profiling cookies. Ordinary request data such as IP address and device information is still processed by our hosting and infrastructure providers; Privacy lists what that includes.

You retain full ownership of all content you create or upload to OwlWho. We do not claim rights to your essays, notes, flashcards, or any other study materials.
